High Rise full stainless steel GY6 header. Fitted for non-fatty or 7-8″” fatty GY6 rear wheel applications, perfect for lowered bikes! Tight fitment is key to the overall appearance of the header, hugging the engine as close as possible to gain additional ground clearance! The header exit is 1.5″ outside diameter, which will allow you to slip-on many small mufflers with an inside diameter of ~1.5″. The runner can be shortened to your desired length! This header is made so that people can customize it with whatever muffler or length that they want! Depending on what size and type of muffler you use, the High Rise GY6 header will also fit 8″ fatty. Mufflers such as the Megaphone, Short Can, and Chrome Shorty muffler that is slim will fit the 8″. Larger mufflers may come into contact with the 8″ rim, please be aware of this! Perfect for GY6 Swap on custom Honda Ruckus, custom Honda Metropolitan, and other custom GY6 equipped scooters. Like with any other headers on the market, it’s not meant to be used by itself! If you want to run an open header, it’s REQUIRED to have a hanger or a bracket to support the header with the engine. Without the proper supporting bracket, the header WILL BREAK at the flange, this would happen to any and all header that doesn’t have a support bracket at the end of the header or exhaust.
