Hares Ear – Tungsten

The Hares Ear trout fly is a pattern that has gone through the paces across the country and still proves to be a fantastic pattern. With great general attractor qualities, this fishing fly can imitate most any aquatic insects that are found in trout streams and rivers. In smaller sizes this can be a great fly to tie on in the spring and summer imitating caddis fly nymphs. In larger sizes it replicates a crane fly larva very well as well as lighter colored stoneflies.
