I am so looking forward to seeing if these will finally solve a problem I have had for years – that being the mess that our scrub sponge and bar of hand soap (husband will not use pump soap) cause in the kitchen sink area. So hoping that the absorbent quality of this stone will do its thing and keep the water that inevitably comes attached to these two items from spreading all over the rest of the counter. What I REALLY love about this set though, which sets it apart from all other sets I have seen, is that I could customize it to our sink.Our sink has ridges around the faucet that were supposed to keep water contained in the sink area, but they don’t, and they make it so I can’t use any of the usual flat bottom surface absorbing stones or silicone protectors because they won’t lie flat. With this set, because I attached the little feet myself, I was able to customize it to fit into the ridged area perfectly. Problem solved! I also chose to put the smooth side on top rather than the ridged surface – another customizable option – because I know the hand soap would get all yukky in those ridges. These look nice too – much better than an ugly grey silicone thing I tried one time.I did not really need them for the main bathroom – it doesn’t get as messy as the kitchen sink – but I went ahead and put the two small ones under our soap there two. No doubt they will help.These are very small – check the measurements. For my needs that was perfect, for yours it may not be. I feel the right price point for these would be around 10 to 15 dollars.
