I gave this product an overall rating of 4, not because of the quality of the product, but because of the lack of response when I tried to contact the manufacturer for a product defect. See attached photos. In all fairness I decided to contact them before just requesting a replacement from Amazon, which I ultimately needed to do and was quite happy with Amazon’s timeliness in replacing these. I first tried leaving a message on the manufacture’s website but was unable to upload supporting photos of my complaint. I provided an email and phone number and assured them I would follow up as well with an email where I could upload photos. No response from the company and the follow up email kept getting returned to me as undelivered. After several weeks I decided to go the Amazon defective product route.The product itself is quite nice and a new favorite of my daughter, mostly because the handles stay nice and cool from the microwave. She uses them often so they have seen many trips through the dishwasher and have held up well. The design is quite interesting and it reminds me of a Tupperware bowl that has been left too close to a stove burner and started to melt. The mat black finish, which works well with most any table setting allows these bowls to capture some guest attention without distracting from any dinnerware pattern that they are paired with.If looking for a bowl set that adds some charm to your dinner table, stays cool to handle and transport, and provides a decent amount of food volume you might like these. Just be aware that if there are issues, customer service, at least in my experience, is non existent. As the photos show, one of the handles has a molding defect which in a set of four is a 25% defect rate. Hopes this review helps in your decision. [...]
