1/2 inch x 92 feet Synthetic Winch Rope Black Cable with Heat Guard and Red Hook for Jeep ATV UTV Truck Boat

First off I have to admit that this is actually my second rope. The reason being is the fist one broke on me after a lot of use. I used the rope for pulling trees out roots and all. I have it wound on a 12,000 pound winch which is attached to a full-size F-350. The rope broke because of frays in it from dragging across splintered wood, bark and sharp rocks. This occurred only after months of daily abuse (I was clearing land…two acres of wooded shrub infested land). The rope takes whatever abuse is thrown it’s way with no issues. The price is unbeatable for what the rope comes with. The first five or six feet are heat treated and color coded red so it serves as a dual purpose. First it handles the heat generated from the winch with no problem. Second it serves as a marker to let you know the winch line is maxed out. On the other end the hook is powder coated with a nice tough red finish. The end is intertwined and covered with a protective sleeve which helps protect it from rough objects. The overall length is roughly 92’ which replaced my 60’ wire cable with no problem. The rope spooled up on the winch with ease and with all 92 feet. The rope came dyed black, but seems to turn gray after repeated use…it still looks good though. This rope is tough and will get the job done!! If you’re looking for synthetic rope that’ll stand up to whatever is thrown it’s way, then this is a great rope to consider. I bought it again because I know it’s not going to let me down. Please remember that I used this rope for its unintended use almost everyday for five months straight. I beat the crap out it and it never let me down. I’m not being paid or reimbursed for my review, I’m actually amazed at how well this synthetic rope work stands up to abuse.
