This trout fly has tremendous movement in the water with its long marabou tail giving it great strike triggering qualities. In olive, this fishing fly is a great damselfly imitation that is great fished near large weeds beds on lakes and rivers where trout hunt for these kinds of prey. In larger sizes this pattern can also be a great burrowing mayfly nymph pattern particularly with its tungsten bead and slender body to help it get down quick.
